I always haul a large canvas back with books, knitting and editing projects everywhere I go. I'm always afraid of being caught with nothing to do while on vacation!
Oh my goodness, she's gone without her evening shoes. Call the embassy, someone. And I peered and peered but couldn't see which Wodehouse. A Jeeves, but which? It's bothering me.
Bearing in mind the weather we have at the moment, the sight of that bikini just makes me shiver.
Perhaps the answer is to construct a Lady Gaga-like dress MADE OF BOOKS! Then you can wear them on holiday and kill two birds with one stone. Just a thought...
*giggles* Looks like maybe you are the target market for an e-reader. I usually take 2 books, but don't end up reading much (though I sometimes get some writing done)--I love to read, but I love to absorb an unusual place more.
My suitcases disappeared after I got my Kindle. Now I only need a backpack. I was willing to carry the books, but now I am not willing to carry the clothes.
how funny! and I love the vintage writers and artists yearbook... have a gret holiday and enjoy all the books- especially Agatha who is essential of course
Oh my gosh! You really need an e-reader. LOL.
ReplyDeleteIt'll be okay though if you're planning to go to a nude beach, then all you'll need is the sunscreen.
