Beautiful Jayne!!! You may be entitled to some money off vouchers for travel (not lunch unfortunately!!) - seriously though!!! Millions of vouchers are left unclaimed by commuters who should really be given these automatically and not have to go through form filling etc.

But don't let LTS bureaucracy put you off!!!!!

I really really urge you to do this - I always get at least a tenner off when I go to renew my £5000+ annual gold card! :-)

Take care
x

That is a brilliant letter.
Hope you get a refund. You deserve one, anyway.

Hey, I could write a similar letter to my cable provider. There is not guide, not all my channels work. And, oh wait, I guess I could thank them for the extra reading time but hey, I'm paying for all those channels I can't see. :(
Good luck & thanks for the chuckle.

Refunds are in order. I am so pleased I've never had to do that kind of commute.

You have reminded me so perfectly why I stopped commuting to London. Thank you. I hope you get your refund, you deserve it!

The weather is against it but it is starting to sound as if it would be quicker to put on your roller-blades. (I used to see two banking types in suits and bowler hats go past my window in Mecklenburgh Square each morning on roller skates. ) That way you would keep fit and have time to eat lunch!

Agreed! £180 a month is a lot of money for all those delays.
I always feel aggrieved when service is shoddy, and businesses never acknowledge the time lost to you when things go wrong. And a few vouchers would be the least they could do.
Having said all that, I am always super-impressed with London Transport- compared to Dublin, it's bliss to get around!

Ouch! I was grumbling about $150 a month to use the Melbourne transit system.

I hope you get a refund.

Fortunately, there isn't any morning traffic to my job. I'm grateful after reading this.

Can you write one for me? It would start: "Dear lorry driver, Next time you decide to be an idiot on the M1 can you make sure it isn't at peak time so that the delays are slightly shorter than an hour?"

You have my sympathy!

Very good Jayne! Can you write one re the overground line from Liverpool Street Station to Stanstead for me. I almost missed my flight back to Cork yesterday, even though I always allow lots of time. First it was the train ahead going too slow. Then our train stopped near Tottenham Hale because the emergency doors wouldn't stay closed. Sigh. I think I am spoiled living in Cork now where I can walk into town. Yes, you should get a refund!
