Happy Father's Day

Here you are, keeping an eye on me. I like to think that you still the do the same from the best and biggest vantage point. x

PS - why have I disappeared from the 'Lovely Folk' list? I'm not dead - I checked just a minute ago. Perhaps I'm not lovely...

Martin - I have no idea why you have disappeared from the list! The numbers change like the wind as well - I think it doesn't like me, that little widget. I might take it off.

And thanks for your earlier comment, much appreciated. I think a comfort is thinking you have folk up there 'rooting' for you. :)

That is the best Father's Day post I have seen today. Yes, he does, as does mine. I think the best fathers go to that vantage point faster so they can keep an eye on their darling daughters.

It's comforting to know that we have family who can watch over us from that vantage point-sweet post and love the pic...

such a tender thought and picture. My dad, too, has that vantage point. Thanks for bringing this thought to mind.

Thank you so much, everyone. It was a real comfort to read your words, and lovely to share a picture of my dad with you. It's not often I get a chance to even use the word 'dad' or 'father', so that in itself is worth a lot. :)
