Holiday Packing

Whenever I think of holiday packing, the thought uppermost in my mind is holiday reading. I have amassed a small light portable collection here.

Surely that little lot will fit into my suitcase?

Oh.

Perhaps if I...

Oh.
Hm. Surely I need clothes and things? Maybe I should rethink my books?

*quivers*

Ah sod it. Who needs anything else?!

Oh my gosh! You really need an e-reader. LOL.

It'll be okay though if you're planning to go to a nude beach, then all you'll need is the sunscreen.

I love this post. All you need is books, really.

Funny. I think you need a bigger bag.

I always haul a large canvas back with books, knitting and editing projects everywhere I go. I'm always afraid of being caught with nothing to do while on vacation!

Oh my goodness, she's gone without her evening shoes. Call the embassy, someone. And I peered and peered but couldn't see which Wodehouse. A Jeeves, but which? It's bothering me.

Bearing in mind the weather we have at the moment, the sight of that bikini just makes me shiver.

Perhaps the answer is to construct a Lady Gaga-like dress MADE OF BOOKS! Then you can wear them on holiday and kill two birds with one stone. Just a thought...

Hope you have a wonderful time! Yes, you definitely need an e-reader.

There must be some sort of prize for someone who would pack the Writers' and Artists' Yearbook, 1920 in the same suitcase as a bikini. :-)

*giggles* Looks like maybe you are the target market for an e-reader. I usually take 2 books, but don't end up reading much (though I sometimes get some writing done)--I love to read, but I love to absorb an unusual place more.

Get an e-reader for Christmas. I love mine, and I have now over 400 books on it. (That number just keeps growing and growing.)

My suitcases disappeared after I got my Kindle. Now I only need a backpack. I was willing to carry the books, but now I am not willing to carry the clothes.
